PRIVATE AND DIRECTED RETREATS

Pecos Benedictine Monastery is a monastery with retreat facilities and hermitages. Our emphasis is on sharing our monastic life of Benedictine PEACE and PRAYER with all who come. Our retreat facilities include:

• comfortable rooms, each with its own bathroom;
• our monastic chapel, always open to retreatants;
• 1000 acres of mountain property with lawns, pasture land, a pond, hiking trails and, of course, the Pecos River running through it;
• a well-stocked library with a conference room;

CALL US to plan your group’s stay. We can house around 50 retreatants. Groups can ask for special services, such as: the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Healing services, and Special instruction on monastic and spiritual topics. Charismatic Oblate Retreat   
 
This retreat is open to all oblates, friends of the Pecos community and all those interested in the Charismatic Renewal.
 
Please join us for a week-end of spiritual renewal. Father Daniel Balizan from the parishes of St Joseph and St Patrick in Raton, New Mexico will serve as the retreat master. Father Daniel has been described as being a very energetic and enthusiastic speaker with a special gift of encouragement and exhortation. Father has previously served as the Charismatic Renewal liaison to the Archbishop of the Santa Fe Archdiocese.
Father Daniel will give insight into living a Charismatic life in today's world and the necessity for the gift of discernment of spirits in public and private life.
 
Come be refreshed and renewed in the Holy Spirit.
